This personalized onboarding video was created for Bell Fibe Internet customers to help simplify the installation and setup experience. The video dynamically integrated customer-specific details such as order numbers, installation dates, technician arrival times, and subscribed services to provide a clear and personalized welcome.
Objective
The goal was to reduce confusion during the onboarding process by delivering key installation information in a simple and engaging format. The video needed to guide customers through what to expect on installation day while introducing features such as internet speed, Fibe TV access, and account management through MyBell.


Challenge
Onboarding for telecom services can involve multiple products, installation steps, and account details, which can be overwhelming for new customers. The challenge was creating a motion graphics experience that could adapt to each customer’s specific services and data, while remaining clear, friendly, and easy to follow.

Process
Using After Effects, Photoshop, and the personalized video platform Idomoo, I designed and animated a dynamic onboarding video capable of integrating real customer data. The animation framework allowed key information—such as installation details and subscribed services—to update automatically, delivering a unique video experience for every customer.


Result
The personalized onboarding video helped streamline the installation experience by proactively answering common customer questions and setting clear expectations. By combining CRM data with motion graphics storytelling, the project demonstrated how personalized video can deliver meaningful 1:1 communication at scale while improving the overall customer experience.
